One year ago, we were having to lift our dear old 15 and a half year old Retriever/ Bernese mix, Levi, up and down the steps in order for him to go out to just pee in the back yard. Anti-inflammatory drugs, pain killers, weekly acupuncture, weekly laser therapy, twice weekly massage…..hundreds of dollars every week and STILL he was uncomfortable. It was bloody awful. As a pet parent, you want to help them, but yet you feel helpless.
