Eagle

Arthritis Testimonial Horse

Eagle

Along with his partial blindness and arthritis in his hock (old injury), Eagle, my 24-year-old Rocky Mt gelding, was rapidly having to struggle harder just to breathe due to COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or “heaves”). In spite of strong medication, he was coughing and wheezing more and more, and we were thinking that it was nearly time to begin the intensive, expensive and only partially helpful treatments of steroids and inhalation therapy. We were hoping that the System Saver would help with his arthritis, and hoped it might have some effect on his heaves, but WOW! We did not expect what happened - which is such a change in him that he no longer takes the medication which was necessary every day, rarely coughs, and in fact, most people would not even recognize that he is a “heavey” horse.
